- Guided the discussion of students’ academic standing and facilitate the disposition of a student based on standing policies and procedures.
- Facilitated the revisions of academic policies related to student enrollment, progression, and re-admission.
- Examined students’ progression data to enhance students’ success
- Aligned support for recruitment events within the nursing department

Contribution to the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program
As a board-certified nurse practitioner, I understand and recognize the importance of inspiring and supporting the next generation of nurse practitioners to strive for health care excellence. Although I have never been asked or assigned to chair a DNP project, I have had the pleasure to serve as a committee member on several. I think it is important to provide guidance and empower students to initiate evidence-based practice projects that enhance health care and improve patient outcomes.
In addition to serving on DNP committees, I actively participate in interviewing of DNP candidates as needed.

- Women of the Dream, Inc. is a 501-C-3 organization that provides program services to girls and young women, ages 12-18, in underserved communities, and prepares them for personal, career, and economic success.
Coordinated and arranged for minority nursing students from SNC to participate in Cooper Medical School conference; A student-run Racism in Medicine Conference held on November 16, 2019.
Assisted with the mission of the SNC to be present and available in the community by participating in the Baptist Temple Church in Camden Community Health Fair on May 25, 2019.

Invited member of the African American Health Equity Initiative (AAHEI) Work Group for Susan G. Komen of Central and South Jersey, August 2018 – 2019. A key purpose of the group was to identify more effective methods to reach and ensure early screening of minority women.
